1. General Operations • Exclusive operation and management of two eateries, one standalone bar, and management of airport vending machines offering a wide variety of food and beverage options to accommodate both leisure and business travelers. o Exclusive management of eateries does not prevent terminal tenants from catering outside food and beverage for special events. • All locations must remain open 365 days a year, with operating hours and staffing levels adjusted to match seasonal trends and daily passenger traffic. • Be prepared to provide service during all departing flight hours, from as early as 4:00 a.m. until late in the evening, including during flight delays caused by weather or other disruptions at Quad Cities International as well as connecting hub airports. • Provide adequate staffing for all three locations, including trained personnel in food preparation, customer service, cleaning, bartending, and management. • Keep all food and beverage areas clean, safe, and welcoming at all times. 2. Food Service • Offer high-quality, freshly prepared food appropriate for quick service and sit-down dining environments. • Provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner options, including menu diversity to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences (e.g., vegetarian, gluten-free). • Ensure food handling, storage, preparation, and presentation meet or exceed all health and safety codes as established by local, state, and federal authorities. 3. Alcoholic Beverage Service • Secure and maintain all necessary licenses and approvals for the sale and service of alcoholic beverages within the airport environment. • Provide responsible alcohol service at both food & beverage locations and the standalone bar, including staff training and compliance with state and airport regulations. • Have staff that can serve alcohol during all hours of operations • Monitor alcohol service in accordance with airport security protocols and TSA regulations, ensuring that alcohol is not served to intoxicated individuals or carried into aircraft.
