NDSU is looking at contracting a firm that can provide a complete service-oriented water treatment program for the Heating Plant boiler system. In addition, the boiler water treatment program will include all chemical products, any required equipment, and professional consulting services to accomplish the following: Reduce energy consumption through improved efficiency. The water treatment program will provide scale and corrosion control for steam boilers, dearator, steam/condesate lines, while maximizing efficiency and performance. This is accomplished by minimizing scale and corrosion which create deposits on heat transfer surfaces. Minimize repair and maintenance costs associated with replacement and cleaning of equipment due to scale or corrosion activity. Provide professional, knowledgeable, and involved sales/service personnel to ensure program success. Accurately monitor programs results and communicate appropriate recommendations. Thoroughly train NDSU personnel on the program implementation, training, testing and monitoring. Provide competitive water treatment program costs. Vendors are to complete the following in order to be considered. Failure to do so may disqualify your firm for further consideration.
