The successful applicant shall handle and represent the Historic Preservation Commission and the Township in all historic preservation matters. Any experience or knowledge of matters directly affecting the Township should be addressed. A. GENERAL CRITERIA Applicant: i. Should demonstrate knowledge of Article 8 of the Millburn Development Regulations and Zoning Ordinance regarding Historic Preservation. ii. Shall serve in an advisory capacity to the Millburn Township Historic Preservation Commission and render consultation and advice on matters submitted for review, study, recommendation or comment, including the review of applications before the Historic Preservation Commission. iii. Be available and able to perform various projects, grant applications, studies and surveys that may be requested by the Township or Historic Preservation Commission or Township Committee. iv. Shall demonstrate a knowledge of municipal land use law, architecture and planning. v. Be capable of writing grants and have an understanding of grant processes both on a State and Federal level as it relates to historic matters.
