The Work of this Project consists of the renovation of the King County Housing Authority’s Central Office lobby, located in Tukwila, Washington. The facility is a two-story concrete tilt-up structure originally constructed in the 1980s. The building will remain fully occupied by KCHA staff and operational throughout the construction period. Safety and accessibility for occupants must be constantly maintained. Contractor will coordinate directly with KCHA for the removal of existing security cameras and devices. Interior upgrades to the existing building lobby. Scope includes the installation of a living wall system and minor slab on grade demo, Installation of drainage pipe. Minor interior infill framing, minor demo at second floor to increase opening at mezzanine. New interior finishes at floor, wall, and ceiling. New lighting fixtures on the first floor, Second floor, and stairway.
