Specifications Excavate down approx. 8 inches, place/install approximately six inches(6”) of stone base, then install three inches (3”) of asphalt, then place the Polyurethane Track Surface on top of the asphalt Fine grade track using laser guided motor grader and compact sub-base of four inches (4”) ABC stone Supply and install 4” gab using laser guided equipment and compact Supply and install 1.5” asphalt base course and 1.5” asphalt finish course Track Specifications 522 meters Two (2) 48” lanes No raised curb Approximately 1,642 square yards of surfacing area Surfacing installation requires minimum temperature of 50F in a 24-hour cycle The temperature during actual installation must be at a minimum of 55F Line marking requires minimum temperature of 50F and rising for successful application Installation shall not occur in wet conditions. Asphalt must cure for thirty (30) days before Track Surface can be applied. Temperatures shall be fifty (50) degrees or above in order for Track surface to be installed on cured asphalt. Per paragraph 4.5: “Vendor should complete track repair within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days after contract execution.”
