The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain pricing for and to procure Seven Fotokite Sigma Roof Mount Drones with vehicle dock tablet charging stations. These will be used for NCDOT Transportation Systems Management & Operations Unit to outfit its Incident Management Assistance Patrol (IMAP) responders with tethered drones to provide enhanced situational awareness to the Statewide Transportation Operations Center (STOC), local Traffic Management Centers (TMCs), and central management when responding to incidents. The drones have embedded software that provides video only with livestreaming capability to provide a live view of major traffic incidences and emergencies via laptop or tablet. The data captured by the livestreaming cameras will be stored in a thumb drive embedded within the drone. NCDOT Fleet Management will install the mounting brackets, and the Vendor will make the final connection of the drone to the mounting hardware. This purchase includes a 1-year warranty (1 year warranty with purchase that ensures the equipment is without defect plus 4 years optional extended warranty) paid annually at the time of renewal by NC Department of Transportation. The warranty service is provided by the original manufacturer of the drones, Fotokites US, LLC and the drones and installation service will be provided by the vendor who will receive award of this contract. Goods and Services will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB.
