The overall scope of this RFP is concerned with Interior Plant and Water Garden maintenance services for the Georgia World Congress Center. Proposers are cautioned to completely familiarize themselves with all of the requirements prior to proposing. Contract(s) may be awarded to one or more vendors for any, all, or portions of, the listed scopes. The Owner is interested in receiving proposals that address a comprehensive solution to the maintenance described herein for each facility. The initial term of each scope of work is three- (3) years. It is envisioned that a successful maintenance program will ensure optimum economic benefit, extend the life of and protect building assets, help the Owner manage schedules, and provide accountability for services. Scope of work is indicated below. a. GEORGIA WORLD CONGRESS CENTER (GWCC) - For services on the premises of GWCC, the successful contractor(s) will perform, as a minimum, the following services: • Maintenance, care, watering, installation of seasonal plants, installation of mulch/top dressing, and replacement of diseased/dead plants at all decorative plant containers, inclusive in monthly service fee. The Contractor will acquire existing inventory of deployed plants, plant material, and decorative containers. Current inventory of decorative stainless steel/chrome planters (approximate): 1.5-2’ tall x 1.5-2’ wide: 140 1.5’ tall x 6’ wide: 4 2’ tall x 3-4’ wide: 17 2’ tall x 5’ long x 2’ wide: 35 2’ tall x 7’ diameter: 5 2’ tall x 5’ diameter: 4 • Maintenance, care, watering, installation of seasonal plants, installation of mulch/top dressing, and replacement of diseased/dead plants at all interior plant gardens and raised beds, inclusive in monthly service fee. Square footage for existing interior gardens/raised plant beds: • Bldg B Level 2 garden at B1/B2 Exhibit Hall entry: 1,688 sq ft • Bldg B Level 2 garden at B2/B3 Exhibit Hall entry: 1,688 sq ft • Bldg B Level 2 garden at north escalator to Level 3: 529 sq ft • Bldg B Level 2 garden at Food Works concessions: 580 sq ft • Bldg B raised planters Level 2: 34 sq ft (x4); 38 sq ft (x4) • Bldg B raised planters Level 3: 45 sq ft (x 4) • Inspect all beds and container plantings for debris, fallen leaves, trash, etc. upon each visit. • Provide manual watering to ensure appropriate vigorous growth of plantings.
