High quality pelleted fish food, starter and grower diets formulated for the accelerated production of Rainbow Trout (90,000), Brown Trout (175,000), Channel Catfish (800,000), and Blue Catfish (80,000). This feed includes a nutrient-rich crumbled starter feed, extruded sinking salmon feed and extruded floating feed that is easily digestible. Fish meal will provide the primary protein source that trout and catfish species can grow most efficiently on. SUPPLIES AND/OR SERVICES REQUIRED: Sizes for starter feed include #0 (.3-.6mm), #1 (.5-.8mm), and #2 (.8-1.2mm). Sizes for extruded sinking fry food are 1.0 and 2.5 mm and extruded floating are 1.5 and 2.5 mm. Larger sizes of extruded sinking (3, 4, and 6 mm) and extruded floating (3.5 and 5 mm) are needed for rearing trout and catfish fingerlings, respectively. The nutritional content of the feed should be guaranteed for at least twelve months from the date of manufacture when stored in a cool, dry location and must be packaged in 50-pound bags (40-lb bags are acceptable for the extruded floating feed larger than 1.5 mm). Fish food must be provided in a wide variety of sizes listed above and is essential for the intensive culture of cold and warm water fish species reared at Jake Wolf Fish Hatchery and Little Grassy.
