Vendor will finalize the design, prepare for fabrication, fabricate, and deliver 42 brass (or similar) plaques to 21 locations in Rhode Island. Twenty-one of these plaques will be the same and the other 21 will be unique per locations. Each location will have one standard sized plaque which is 18 inches wide and 15 inches tall. Additionally, each location will have a ‘Unique’ plaque which is 18 inches wide with a variable length that depends on the amount of information on it. The shortest plaque will be 15 inches tall. Vendors must provide a base pricing for a 18”w x 15”h plaque with a per inch rate for each inch of length added to the ‘unique’ plaques going up to 30 inches. The design and production of the plaques should be such that when installed, the standard plaque is placed above the unique plaque and together they appear as one unified plaque. Vendor will provide the following: - Design services to convert PRO’s conceptual layout (attached) into a final version ready for fabrication. - Recommendations on material, texture, fonts, installation mechanisms, etc., to optimize weight and cost. If a vendor is interested in bidding a similar-looking material to brass (i.e. a proposed alternate), it must be proposed during the Q&A period and approved by the State. - Fabrication of 21 standard plaques that portray the information included the conceptual layout. These plaques may all be fabricated at one point in time once the design and layout finalized by the vendor has been approved by the State. - Fabrication of 21 unique plaques that each portrays the unique information from its corresponding location. These plaques will be ordered individually as each of their corresponding projects nears completion between December 2025 and November 2026. - Delivery of the plaques (one standard and one unique) to each of the Community Learning Centers. PRO will provide addresses upon fabrication.
