All stone or crushed limestone shall be sound, durable, and free from cracks and other structural defects that would cause it to deteriorate. It shall not contain any soapstone, shale, or other material easily disintegrated. The following are some examples of materials that the County would likely use. Please show on your submitted price sheet the material(s) that meet these criteria: Quarry Run: Crushed limestone and screenings to be used for subgrade replacement shall be crusher-run, 2½ inch maximum size (95% to 100% passing a 2½ inch screen) graded to allow satisfactory compaction. Rock Blanket: Material meeting Section 611.30 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction for Type 1 or Type 2 Rock Blanket. Gabion Rock: Well-graded hard durable limestone shall be 10 inch maximum size (95% to 100% passing a 10 inch screen) and a 4 inch minimum size. Revetment Stone: Material meeting Section 611.50 of the Missouri Standard Specifications for light stone revetment or heavy stone revetment.
