The Jury may require some roads to be primed or watered prior to application of the spray bar oil. Bidder should bid a price per square yard for watering roads and a separate price per square yard for prime oiling roads. Bid should include all labor, materials, and equipment. For one, two or three course spray bar type application of gravel and road oil, bidder is to include all materials to apply the oil then the gravel in layers as directed by the Road Superintendent or Road Foreman at the site. The price (per one, two or three course) shall be by the square yard for either patching repaired potholes, dug out/repaired areas, or running lengths of road. For areas that the Police Jury desires dug out, the Police Jury would utilize its own labor, materials, and equipment to prepare and/or pre-patch the area and dispose of the material removed. Insurance certificate must be provided with a minimum $1,000,000 liability limit and statutory workers compensation coverage.
