Demolition of the pools, associated concrete pads, paving, equipment, plumbing, electrical as indicated and specified. This project will also include the filling of holes left by the demolition with proper materials. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, cashiers check, or bid bond, payable to the Sycamore Park District for the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the proposal. All bidders shall note the following: (1) construction monies will be drawn from local funds on hand; (2) the successful contractor will be paid on a monthly basis according to the approved estimate of completed work; (3) the Sycamore Park District strongly urges all contractors to employ the use of local subcontractors, suppliers, and trades as much as possible for this contract.
