The goal of the District is the continued development of a standards-based cleaning maintenance program to promote the health and well being of the school community. The District intends to achieve this goal through the use of high quality, safe, effective, environmentally preferable products. Products shall be Green Seal or EcoLogo labeled and meet all the State of Connecticut requirements for schools. The District would like to implement standard procedures for the use of all products and related cleaning equipment along with training and quality assurance programming and planning. Firms should show how they are able to provide expertise in how to use their products, training in standard procedures along with the consultation and improved management of custodial chemicals/equipment/supply inventory and logistics.
