The Rhode Island Department of Administration, Division of Purchases, on behalf of the Department of Transportation/Office on Highway Safety (RIDOT/OHS) is hereby soliciting proposals from marketing/public relations firms. RIDOT is looking for firms to help develop and produce a Statewide impaired driving campaign, as well as placing paid media for these campaigns. The length of the contract will be for two (2) Federal Fiscal Years, with an option for an extension of one (1) additional Federal Fiscal Year at the State’s option. Creative elements will include, but not be limited to, fully produced videos (of a quality for both on-line – including Over the Top (OTT) -- and broadcast use), radio spots and “out of home pieces” (various size billboards, bus “kings” and “tails”) and posters. On-line materials must be suitable for use on various social media platforms. All materials should be produced both in English and Spanish. This strategic marketing campaign will be aimed at heightening awareness of Driving Under the Influence of Drugs (DUID) and the current alcohol impaired driving laws. The goal will be to educate and inform the motoring public of current RI laws regarding alcohol and drug impaired driving, and specifically, that use of cannabis impairs driving.
