The City seeks qualified, licensed electrical contractor(s) to provide on-call services for repairs, installations, and troubleshooting of existing electrical systems across various municipal facilities for up to 5 years. These include water and wastewater treatment plants, remote pump stations, odor control sites, and water storage facilities (both elevated and ground-level tanks). The different power levels contractors could encounter include 25KV, 4160V, 480V and below. The Contractor may elect to provide only services for medium voltage, low voltage, or both. The selected contractor shall furnish all necessary labor, tools, equipment, testing instruments, materials (unless otherwise specified), transportation, and supervision to perform electrical work in compliance with applicable codes and standards, including NEC, OSHA, NESC, NFPA 70E, and relevant local and state regulations. Coordination with City staff is required to ensure safety and operational continuity. All work must adhere to current wiring standards and include proper labeling of systems and components. Work will be assigned on an as-needed basis. Contractors must provide a written estimate for each job, itemizing labor, materials, and any special equipment or rentals prior to commencement. A separate purchase order (PO) will be issued for each task. The City does not guarantee a minimum dollar amount or volume of work under this contract. Unless otherwise specified for emergency services, all work shall be performed during standard business hours between 7am – 5pm Monday through Friday. Contractors must respond to emergency service requests within two (2) hours and to nonemergency requests within twenty-four (24) hours to notify Owner if they are available to assist with the request. Upon contact, contractors must confirm availability and provide a proposed schedule. While after-hours work is not anticipated, the City may request it in urgent situations and will coordinate scheduling accordingly. Emergency services will be clearly delineated from standard electrical work requests. A separate pricing column is included in the proposal cost form for emergency rates. Contractors are not required to submit emergency work rates, but may do so if they wish to be considered for emergency request jobs.
