Scope of work includes demolition of existing campus security building, sitework and construction of a new one-story, 25,143 SF addition to the Student Center. The facility includes kitchen, dishwashing, food storage, refrigerated storage and other support space. Foundation consists of drilled concrete piers with concrete floor slab over steel deck supported by steel joists over full crawl space. Roof structure consists of steel joists supported by steel beams and columns. Exterior walls are a combination of brick masonry with CMU back-up, metal panel system, and curtain-wall. Roof is low-slope modified bitumen. Project includes interior partitions, millwork, ceiling systems, and all finishes, as well as kitchen equipment. HVAC systems will be primarily roof-top package units. Full plumbing, electrical and life safety systems are included.
