Cold Milling the street surface at the location designated on the plans or by the City’s Representative and removing the resulting material from the street right of way. Hauling of reclaimed pavement may be performed either by the City or by the Contractor, at the discretion of the City’s Representative. If the City elects to haul the reclaimed pavement, the millings remain the property of the City. The Contractor shall load the millings into City trucks, and the work shall be paid at the unit price bid for "Without Hauling". If the Contractor performs the hauling, it shall be paid at the unit price bid for "With Hauling", and the Contractor shall retain ownership of the millings. The pavement remaining after the milling shall provide a surface suitable for maintaining traffic. This work shall not include paint stripping or asphalt patching.
