C1.1 The intent of this solicitation is to provide pest control services with an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program for the Newark Board of Education (NBOE, District). C1.2 The submission of a bid will be construed to mean that the Bidder is fully informed as to the extent and character of the services, supplies, materials or equipment required and a representation that the Bidder can furnish the supplies, materials or equipment satisfactorily in complete compliance with the specifications. C1.3 The conditions and requirements are intended to be open and nonrestrictive and are to serve as standards for the purpose of obtaining adequate participation of interested vendors; uniformity in the submission of bids, and selection of the most responsible vendors. All Bidders shall either meet or exceed the following specifications and industry standards. C1.4 The Newark Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any informality in any bid in accordance with applicable law. Also reserved is the right to reject bids and to purchase services using a New Jersey State Contract or Cooperative. Award of contract will be subject to availability of funds. C1.5 Bidders shall be a qualified New Jersey licensed pesticide applicator business with a minimum of eight (8) registered and licensed applicators to provide pest control services and implementation of a districtwide Integrated Pest Management program (IPM).
