Services may be required in any of the DEPARTMENT’s engineering disciplines, including: • Project Management Services, including Project Management Plans (PMP), Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC), coordination, meetings, progress reporting, and project scheduling • Field Reviews, Data Collection, and Project Scoping • General Environmental Services, Studies, and Surveys • Roadway Design and Engineering Services • Plan, Specifications, Quantities and Cost Estimate Preparation and Development • Right-of-Way Survey Services, Engineering, and Acquisition Support (in accordance with the Uniform Act and current NDOT policies and standards) • Subsurface Utility Exploration (SUE) and coordination • Structural Design • Traffic Operations and Modeling/Forecasting • Traffic Signal, Intelligent Transportation System (ITS), and Lighting Design • Traffic Pavement Marking and Signing Design • Traffic Control Plans, Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) Analysis, and Transportation Management Plans (TMP) • Pavement Design • Hydraulics/Drainage and Stormwater Design • Landscape and Aesthetics Design • Mapping and Surveying • Geotechnical Investigation and Analysis • Construction Engineering and Support Services during construction • Transportation Engineering Studies, Cost Risk Assessments, Value Engineering Studies, Benefit/Cost Analysis, and Constructability Reviews and Construction Schedules • Public Involvement, Relations, Outreach, and Meetings; Projects delivered under this Scope may include, but are not limited to: • District Betterment Projects • Hydraulic Projects • Preservation Projects • ADA and Pedestrian Ramp Improvement Projects • Bridge/Structure Projects • Safety Projects • Traffic Operations Projects • Bike and Multimodal Projects • Landscape and Aesthetic Projects...
