3.1 Pump Selection The existing condenser water pumps are Paco Model KPH 32-24244, horizontal split-case, single stage centrifugal pumps, designed for 20,000 gpm at 80 feet of head with 500 hp motors and 800 hp VFDs by ABB. The basis of design replacement condenser water pump selection is a horizontal split-case, single stage, double suction, centrifugal pump as well, with a higher horsepower motor (700 hp) re-utilizing the existing 800 hp VFDs by ABB. Offeror shall procure Goulds pumps with following specifications and full technical data is available in Appendix #1: • Manufacturer: Goulds • Model: e-XC • Design point: 20,030 gpm at 121 ft head • Motor: 700 hp, 460V • Suction nozzle: 28 NPS • Discharge nozzle: 24 NPS
