4.0 This project will be for structural floor repairs in the Bonaventure Office Building, located at Bonaventure Cemetery, 330 Bonaventure Road. The work will include but is not limited to construction of brick piers to support a floor girder and work to repair and sister a floor joist. This work will occur in the crawlspace of the office building. 4.1 The scope of work shall include but not be limited to the following: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies to perform the repairs to the floor system. Please see the repair sketches and photos. 4.2 The contractor is responsible for trash removal and any work that will be disruptive to the office staff needs to be coordinated with the Project Manager ahead of time. 4.3 Any temporary bracing is the responsibility of the contractor. 4.4 Maintain clean work areas at all times. Remove and dispose of all demolished materials and construction debris. The site must be cleaned every day at the completion of work. The contractor shall take extra precautions to pick up all debris, nails, and fasteners from the ground and all surrounding area. 4.5 The contractor is responsible for field verification of all measurements. 4.6 The contractor shall verify all new and existing conditions and dimensions at the job site prior to the proposed process start of construction, and during construction. 4.7 The Contractor shall perform all work, make all deliveries and have access to work areas between 8:30 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday. 4.8 The contractor shall obtain approvals in advance for all laydown and storage areas. 4.9 The contractor is responsible for the protection of all surfaces including those not in the scope of work from construction dust, debris, or damage during construction up until final acceptance. As much as possible if materials can be brought in and out of the crawlspace via the access on the side of the building rather than through the office space that is preferred. 4.10 The City reserves the right at any time to contract for and perform other or additional work on or near work covered by this scope. Each contractor shall conduct their work so as not to interfere with or hinder the progress or completion of the work being performed by other Contractors. Contractors working on the same project/area shall cooperate with each other.
