The Little Rock Port Authority requests qualifications from firms interested in providing professional Construction Management services regarding construction of a rail-to-truck transload facility, plus two 30,000 sf warehouses, along with necessary site improvements. Project includes NEPA studies and clearance, engineering design services, construction of 5300 feet of track and 5 turnouts, installation of a fall arrest system, rail scales, construction of an access road, and application of a Class 7 aggregate base course for the yard itself. Services will be required for pre-construction and construction activities to include: design review, scheduling, cost control and value engineering, constructability evaluation, advice regarding dividing the project into more than one contract, preparation and coordination of bid phase documents, and construction administration and supervision.
