The scope of services for which PHA is soliciting proposals is generally to provide comprehensive financial accounting services as Certified Public Accountants (CPA) to the Plymouth Housing Authority. The scope of services shall include, but is not limited to the following: ● To act as Accounting Consultant for the Authority in all financial accounting matters for which the authority may request. ● To represent the authority in all general financial accounting matters. ● To represent the authority in developing and implementing financial accounting matters regarding the Board approved staff implementation of the Annual Consolidated Operational Budget. Must be trained in affordable housing revenue and expenses. ● Be available to attend regular monthly meetings to present financial accounting Monthly Financial Statements advice. And attend special meetings of PHA, if requested by the Board of Commissioners, and if available) ● To monitor and implement Accounts Payables, and Accounts Receivables, Payroll, and must have at least three complete years with work experience with Quick Books. ● To be available for consultation, upon reasonable notice, with the Interim Business manager and the Commissioners. ● To inform the Executive Director and the Commissioners, on a continuing basis, any financial trends (+-) ● To inform the Interim Business Manager and the Commissioners, on a continuing basis, of their rights and duties regarding financial accounting rules and regulations by the CT Department of Housing (DOH), CT Housing Finance
