- The purchase and installation of an Authority-approved standby generator. - The purchase and installation of an Authority-approved automatic transfer switch (ATS). - The placement of the concrete pad or foundation for the propane tank as required. - Providing and installing all gas piping, regulators, and necessary connections from the propane tank to the generator. - Modifying the existing electrical system as needed to integrate the generator and ATS. - Purchase and installation of all necessary wiring and conduit from the generator to the ATS and from the ATS to the building’s electrical panel. - Coordination of all required modifications to the building’s electrical panel or main service to accommodate the standby generator. - Inspection of the existing electrical system at the Authority to determine compatibility with the proposed generator system. - Integration of the emergency standby generator and ATS with the Authority’s electrical system to allow for automatic switchover in the event of a power outage.
