The Contractor shall: • Recruit, hire, and retain qualified personnel who meet all licensing and training requirements under [State Law]. • Ensure all employees pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and employment eligibility verification before assignment. • Provide uniforms, badges, and appearance standards that project professionalism and are clearly distinguishable from law enforcement. • Supply and maintain all equipment required to fulfill this scope, including radios, flashlights, PPE, and vehicles if required. • Provide 24/7 supervisory support with escalation contacts and an Account Manager as the single point of contact. • Develop and maintain post orders in coordination with the County’s Security Manager. • Maintain accurate timekeeping and submitting itemized invoices based on verified staff hours worked and the appropriate rate of pay. 2. Guard Duties Guards assigned under this contract shall perform, but are not limited to, the following duties: • Access control, visitor management, and scanning • Patrol of interior and exterior areas (foot, vehicle, or bicycle as designated). • Monitoring security cameras, alarms, and building systems. • Incident reporting, daily activity logs, and immediate notification of emergencies. • Assisting in emergency response, evacuation, or shelter-in-place procedures. • Providing a professional and courteous customer service presence. 3. Customer Responsibilities The Customer shall: • Provide access to facilities, security systems, and communications infrastructure as needed. • Furnish site-specific orientation and emergency procedures to the Contractor. • Coordinate with the Contractor on post orders and emergency drills. • Monitor contract compliance and performance. 4. Staffing & Scheduling • The Contractor shall staff each post/site as directed in the contract schedule. • No personal vehicles shall be used for guard services.
