a. Site Assessment & Preparation i. For new installations (baseball and softball fields): 1. Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions. 2. Provide recommendations for base construction, drainage, grading, and infrastructure. ii. For replacement projects (football and soccer fields): 1. Assess existing turf and sub-base conditions. 2. Include removal and disposal of existing turf. 3. Recommend any necessary repairs or upgrades to the base or drainage systems. b. Turf System Options Vendors must provide quotes for three levels of turf systems for each field: i. Standard Turf System – Meets minimum specifications. ii. Mid-Tier Turf System – Enhanced performance and durability beyond minimum specs. iii. Premium Turf System – Highest quality product with advanced features (e.g., cooling technology, enhanced fiber resilience, reduced infill fly-out). c. Customization Options i. Include pricing for all customization options such as: 1. Field markings and inlays (e.g., logos, end zone designs, team branding). 2. Color variations. 3. Sport-specific enhancements (e.g., mound areas for baseball/softball). ii. Customization must be quoted as additive options to each turf system level.
