The successful candidate qualified and selected will be required to conduct an audit of the individual funds and the account group of the Borough of East Newark, New Jersey. The qualified and selected candidate will be required to perform, but not be limited to, the following services: a. Perform Annual Audit to include departments and agencies pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:5-4. b. Perform Annual Single Audit to satisfy Federal requirements and the audit of grant programs. c. Review the Annual Budget, Financial and Debt Statement priorto theirfiling/adoption consistent with statutory deadlines. d. Perform audit of any Pension and Deferred Compensation Plans in the Borough. e. Perform audit of Municipal Court funds. f. Perform audit of any grants of the Borough. g. Perform audit of Sub-grantees records as needed, and if necessary. h. Respond to inquiries concerning financial and tax matters associated with the Borough on an as needed basis.
