1. All restrooms shall be swept and mopped with an approved sanitizer according to the daily schedule. The floors, walls, stalls and doors shall be washed down one time per week. Disinfectant shall be used daily for sanitizing. Successful bidder shall furnish all chemicals and equipment. 2. All mirrors and fixtures shall be cleaned daily. 3. Cobwebs, nests, etc., shall be removed and all ledges cleaned. 4. All restrooms shall be cleaned each day, seven days a week, except for three holidays: New Years Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. All restrooms shall be cleaned by 1:00 p.m. each day. 5. Faucets and toilets shall be checked daily to ensure they are working properly. 6. Trash found in restrooms shall be collected and placed in the trash containers in or by the restrooms. 7. Light bulbs shall be changed as needed. 8. Minor graffiti shall be removed. Any vulgar of offensive graffiti shall be reported to the Facilities Maintenance Supervisor immediately. 9. The City of Fort Smith Parks Staff will collect trash each weekday, except for City-observed holidays. 10. Restrooms shall be inspected by City Staff and all deficiencies shall be noted and the Contractor shall be notified for correction. This includes the “chase” for each facility when one exists. 11. Contractor shall provide cleaning personnel with communications ability in order to be able to be contacted by City Staff and report problems beyond contractor requirements. Any problems noted during cleaning hours by contractor shall be immediately reported to city staff at 479-784-1006 or to the emergency on call number provided if problems occur after normal work hours. 12. Contractor shall attempt to unstop plugged toilets before calling in a problem.
