1.Proposer submitting proposals shall have a minimum of five (5) years acceptable experience in providing full-service HVAC Preventative Maintenance Services. Proposer shall possess a Louisiana Mechanical License and demonstrate expertise and experience in maintaining and repairing various types of HVAC systems and equipment found at NOLA-PS facilities including but not limited to: a. Air-cooled chillers with multiple reciprocating, scroll, screw, or magnetic bearing compressors b. Water cooled chillers with centrifugal, (some with magnetic bearings), screw or scroll Compressors. c. Factory certified for Daiken (or other manufacturer) VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) or VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems d. Multi-cell cooling towers e. Chemical Treatment systems including direct injection and “pulse-pure” type systems f. Freon monitoring and/or detection systems g. HVAC systems that combine fresh outdoor air with recirculated air – Dedicated Outdoor Air System (DOAS) h. Central Station constant volume, multi-zone and variable volume air- handling units, some with variable speed drives i. Variable Air Volume terminal units (VAV boxes) j. Chilled water and hot water fan-coil units or blower coil units k. Packaged roof top heating and cooling units, some chilled water and some Direct Expansion(DX), and some with energy recovery wheels l. Hot water and steam boilers, some gravity vented, some condensing type m. Electric and hot water heating coils n. Chilled water and hot water pumps, with variable speed drives o. Centrifugal and in-line exhaust fans p. HVAC controls including pneumatic, Direct Digital Controls (DDC), networked Building Automation Systems (BAS), and safety controls (smoke detectors, static-pressure sensors, flow switches, electronic actuators, ability to trouble shoot control outputs either binary or analog, CO2 sensors, Differential Pressure (DP) switches q. DX heating and cooling split systems including “ductless mini-splits” r. Window Units 2. Proposer must currently have experience with school districts, municipalities, other government agencies, or large office buildings
