The Kansas Department of Commerce is seeking competitive bid proposals from qualified vendors to provide a consultant to lead the Business Recruitment team as the Senior Regional Director, Great Lakes Region. This lead role provides supervision across the regional territories nationwide and will be responsible for coverage of the Great Lakes Region. This consultant role is designed to guide the success of the team and assist in the development of strategies to support growth objectives. This consultant will be practiced in engaging private sector partners, active site selectors, consultants, and C-suite executives, prior to and during the recruitment process. The Successful Bidder is preferred to have fifteen years of diverse economic development experience, including, but not limited to, supervision and an established record of successful project recruitment.
