Contractor shall construct components necessary to upgrade the existing Irrigation Pump Station as shown in the Drawings and as specified herein, including but not limited to: demolition of existing pump station skid (including mounted pumps and piping) and above ground piping, installation of new pre-fabricated pump station (enclosure with pumps, piping, valves and electrical components), installation of new station piping (above ground and buried) with connection to existing irrigation header piping, modifications to existing concrete wet well and slab to support new enclosure, replacement of existing channel slide gates, installation of bypass pipe assemblies on new header piping, and installation of generator and automatic transfer switch for backup power. Work also includes electrical and local controls at new equipment; related site and miscellaneous work, such as: coatings, soil erosion and sediment control, etc.; mobilization/demobilization, bonds, insurance, and all appurtenances necessary for completion of the work as shown on the Drawings and as specified in the Contract Documents.
