1.0 OPTION B - SOLID TIRE REPLACEMENT 1.1 Delivery & pick up of tires to Somerset County shall be between 8:00 AM 3:00 PM on regularly scheduled workdays. 1.2 Somerset County shall reject any materials which may be damaged or for poor workmanship. Any charges incurred due to defective materials or poor workmanship shall be the responsibility of the contracted vendor. 1.3 Manufactures warranties shall be supplied on all units that are bid. 1.4 The vendor shall supply a line sheet on the type of solid tire that is bid. 1.5 Sample list of “SOLID TIRES" which includes the following but not limited to: • 23.5 X 25 X 19.5 1.6 All scrap materials from Somerset County shall be returned to Somerset County for disposal. 2.0 OPTION C – RUBBER CUTTING EDGES 2.1 Rubber Cutting Edges made from a premium rubber that is abrasion and chunk resistant, Cutting Edges to be 6” in thickness with a 2” tapered edge and available in 36”, 40” and 48” inches in length. 2.2 Mounting Fastener kit size 5/8”, 3/4”, 1” and 1-1/4”: Grade 8 specification for mounting hardware, anchor bolts with slide washer and nut. 3.0 OPTION D – TRAILER TIRES 3.1 Definition of “TRAILER TIRES” which should be defined as for trailer use only or Special Trailer Service. 3.2 Must meet federal compliance with the Federal Motor Carrier safety Administration and The National Highway Safety Administration to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.
