A. The primary scope of work (Bid Form Section A) for this project includes, but is not limited to, the following exterior building components: • Preparation and painting of approximately 1,400+ linear feet of various heights of Service Center Building and walls including surfaces such as red CMU block, metal, wood and stucco areas. (Example Photo 1,2,3) • Preparation, sanding, priming, and painting metal lentils. • Preparation, sanding, priming, and painting all overhead door lentils and frames. • Preparation, sanding, priming, and painting of Salt Barn (top section only) • Replacing approximately five (5) CMU blocks located along the rear (southwest) side of building (Example Photo 4). • Repairing approximately 310 linear feet of control joint sealant caulking. (Example Photo 5) • Minor repair and repainting of stucco area in front of building. B. Optional work (Bid Form Section B) for this project includes the following: • Preparation (power wash) and sealing exterior plain capstone and CMU block with a Thompson's water seal type product approved by the Superintendent of Public Works. Project is expected to commence in Spring 2026. All work is to be completed by June 1, 2026. Please provide proposed timeline and work schedule with submittal. PROJECT SPECIFICATIONS Color Scheme and Paint Type All surfaces will be painted with the same colors and paint type as follows: a. Red CMU block – Thorocoat paint (previously used) or equivalent approved by the Superintendent of Public Works. b. Metal lentils/fleet overhead door and frames– Oil-based enamel paint approved by the Superintendent of Public Works. c. Salt Barn –exterior acrylic paint approved by the Superintendent of Public Works.
