Shawnee County is soliciting sealed bids for (2) New/unused 2026 Truck and 60,000 pound Roll-off hoist & bed with auto tarp per the following minimum specifications. INFORMATION 2026 TRUCK CHASSIS: WARRANTY: 5 yr. bumper to bumper and 5 yr-200,000 mile engine (Cummins PP1) including engine after treatment and 5 yr. transmission. to include all parts and labor on transmission, rear axles, any internally lubricated parts of diesel engine and including starter, alternator, fuel pump, fuel injectors, turbocharger, water pump, all engine electronics including chassis wiring to and from engine and transmission, modules, relays, solenoid, sensors, chassis wiring, switches, dash gauges, hvac, etc. ENGINE: The engine shall be Cummins diesel fueled wet sleeve design with a minimum of 12.5 at 430hp, exhaust brake controlled from a dash mounted switch. The engine shall have a low oil pressure and high engine temperature engine shut down system. The engine must use an S.C.R. system to achieve compliance with E.P.A. 2019 emission standards. The fan will have a Horton two speed air operated clutch. The DEF tank shall be 11 gallons minimum of usable volume, located on LH side under cab. Exhaust must be RH under cab DPF/SCR w RH SOC vertical tailpipe. Shall have engine mount Powercore air cleaner w/constant torque SS clamps, pop-up air flow restriction indicator. Shall have Immersion engine block heater 120V 1500W with plug under door. Shall have 160 amp alternator; must have filter/water separator 12V preheat. Starter shall be 12V electrical system w/centralized power distribution. Batteries shall be 3 PACCAR GP31 threaded post (700) 2100 CCA dual purpose. Battery box shall be cantilever aluminum BOC w/ fiberglass cover. Located on RH side. WEIGHT: The unit shall have a total GCW of no less than 60,000 pounds. WHEELBASE: The unit shall have a minimum wheelbase of 256”; CA shall have a minimum of 182”; and overall length shall be 384”. AXLES AND SPRINGS: The unit must have a Dana Spicer D2000 Front axle rated 20k standard track, or approved equivalent. The front springs must have a capacity of not less than 20K with shock absorbers, with maintenance free elastomer spring pin bushings; The unit must have a Dual Dana Spicer D46-170HP rear axle rated at not less than 46,000 pound capacity, with internal lube pump & wheel to wheel differential lockouts, in both rear axles, or approved equivalent. Gear ratio shall be 4.30. The rear suspension shall be Tandem Hendrickson HMX460 46K, have 54” axle spacing, with shocks, track rods, rubber bolster bushings, and heavy duty torque rods, or approved equivalent. TIRES & WHEELS: Front: Accuride 22.5 x 12.25 Steel Armor powder coat, hub pilot mount, 5-hand holes. M854 385/65R22.5 18 PR or approved equal. Tandem rear: Accuride 22.5 x 8.25 Steel Armor powder coat, hub pilot mount, heavy-duty 5-hand holes. Bridgestone M843 11R22.5 16 PR or approved equal. STEERING: The unit shall have dual power steering gears 20K Sheppard M100P; power steering cooler shall be radiator mounted. TRANSMISSION: The unit shall have a push button 6 speed Allison 4500RDS. Shall be limited to 860 lbft. Shall include shift control, transmission oil temperature gauge, heat exchanger & oil level sensor. Shall have 3 heavy-duty 2 center bearing driveline. Shall have two steel center bearing cross members installed with heavy duty aluminum gussets replacing standard. LIGHTS: • 2 LED work lights mounted on the Gantry. • 2 LED work lights on the tail light bar on rear of truck. • 2 LED amber strobe lights mounted in the tail light bar. • 2 LED amber strobe lights mounted in the front bumper. • **MUST HAVE DONE**
