Tasks • Identifying eligible projects, capturing costs, preparing cost reports, reconciling invoices, and closing out projects. • Attending meetings with FEMA, NCEM, and other agencies to address eligibility and process issues. • Providing expertise in federal regulations, including the Stafford Act, 2 C.F.R. Part 200, and related guidance. • Proactively identifying and resolving funding-related issues. • Providing technical assistance as needed. • Assisting in damage assessments for public infrastructure and facilities. • Gathering and analyzing field documentation and records (e.g., timekeeping, staff assignments). • Reviewing reimbursement documentation for clarity, completeness, and accuracy. • Assisting in the formulation of FEMA PA Emergency and Permanent Work Project Worksheets. • Assisting in the development of Section 406 hazard mitigation proposals. • Evaluating alternate and/or improved projects. • Reviewing Project Worksheets for eligible costs and third-party reimbursements. • Reconciling eligible costs. • Preparing appeals, as applicable.
