JBWS is seeking proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to perform repairs on the existing fire alarm systems and replace aging or non-functional smoke and heat alarms at our facility. The objective is to ensure all systems are code-compliant, fully functional, and provide adequate protection for building occupants. 2. Scope of Work The selected vendor will be responsible for the following: 3.1 Inspection and Assessment Conduct a detailed inspection of existing fire alarm systems, including control panels, wiring, and detectors.Evaluate the condition and functionality of existing smoke and heat detectors. 3.2 Replacement of Smoke and Heat Alarms Remove and properly dispose of old or non-functional alarms.Install new UL-listed smoke and heat alarms (48 smoke, 12 heat).Install backboxes as needed and as per code.
