All personnel shall be capable employees thoroughly trained and qualified in the work assigned to them. All personnel who are scheduled to provide services at City of Topeka locations must clear all required criminal background checks as administered or requested by the City of Topeka. All cleaning products and chemicals shall be provided by the Contractor and shall be maintained per OSHA guidelines with MSDS sheets maintained at each location and a “Master” MSDS log presented to the Facility Operations Division. The Facility Operations Division reserves the right to accept or reject any cleaning chemical/compound and request an appropriate substitution from the Contractor within fifteen (15) days of said request. While on City property, employees shall be subject to the control of the City, but under no circumstances shall such persons be deemed employees of the City. Each piece of the Contractor’s equipment shall be maintained in a high state of cleanliness and repair and marked as owned by the Contractor. Any equipment that is unserviceable or requires repair shall be immediately removed from City property and replaced with serviceable equipment. The Contractor shall be solely responsible for any equipment left on City property by the Contractor. Any of the Contractor’s employees’ personal property brought onto the City property shall be the sole responsibility of the Contractor. The Contractor will designate a supervisor to meet with the Facility Operations Division or his designees a minimum of twice per month to check on the Contractor’s performance under the contract. The Contractor shall provide onsite supervision to ensure compliance with specification.
