The purpose of this solicitation is for the City of Raleigh, Raleigh Water, to secure professional engineering services for the design of the Lower Harris Creek Interceptor. This project will replace and parallel approximately 21,495 linear feet of sanitary sewer with new 30” pipe to increase capacity, reduce the risk of sewer surcharge, and address needed repairs. In addition to the services described below, the scope of services will also include the following: Expediated Preliminary Engineering Services (ideally less than 6 months); Wetland, Stream, and buffer delineation & permitting; Geotechnical Evaluation; Subsurface Utility Exploration; Design and permitting of sewer interceptor; Traffic Control Plan; Easement Plat preparation and recordation; Bid Phase Services; Select Construction Administration Services and inspection; As-Built survey and plans.
