1.1.The Town of Ocean City Procurement Department will conduct a formal Request for Quote process with a three-Quote minimum, review the submissions, and formally Award Vendor. 1.2.The Town of Ocean City is requesting Quotes for the construction and installation of welcome signage at the head of North Division Street as indicated within the documentation. Reference photos shall be provided to Vendor for review. The Town is seeking Vendors to provide a proposal for construction and installation of the welcome signage. 1.3.The scope of work shall include in general, all materials, supplies, equipment, repairs, labor, and finishing work as described on the plans and/or specifications. 1.4.The design and construction of the welcome signage shall be 60” tall by 133.5” wide by 7” thickness and/or depth. The welcome signage shall be non-illuminated by design and the Town of Ocean City shall provide general use landscaping lights to illuminate the welcome signage. The sign shall have four layers and be installed on aluminum posts. The welcome signage shall be constructed in aluminum. The letters of the welcome signage shall be done in stainless steel with pin mounts. 1.5.Successful Vendor shall provide structural engineering and review documents with stamped drawings. 1.6.The back wave of the welcome signage shall be 2” deep with 0.80 aluminum faces, 2” by .063” aluminum returns, and .125” aluminum backer for mounting to posts with tamper proof screws on the back surface. 1.7.The middle wave of the welcome signage shall be 2” deep with 0.80 aluminum faces, 2” by .063” aluminum returns, ACM backers mounted to the back wave, and utilize Mathews Paint in OC light blue and dark blue coloration. 1.8.The front wave of the welcome signage shall be 2” deep with 0.80 aluminum faces, 2” by .063” aluminum returns, ACM backers mounted to the middle wave, and utilize Mathews Paint in OC light blue and dark blue coloration. 1.9.The letters of the welcome signage shall be 1” deep stainless steel with welded returns, and utilize Mathews Paint in OC light white coloration. Letters shall be pine mounted and bolted to the waves. 1.10. The smile of the welcome signage shall be 1” deep stainless steel with welded returns, and utilize Mathews Paint in OC yellow and blue coloration. Smile shall be pine mounted and bolted to the waves.
