A. Contractor shall remove the existing Indoor Combustion Force Air Furnace CFM 1950 Reznor and replace it with a new unit. The new unit shall be the same or an equal unit with the following features: a. E-3 (409) stainless steel heat exchanger b. E-3 (409) stainless steel burner c. 409 (E) stainless steel drip pan and bottom furnace section d. Two-stage gas valve with unit-mounted DuctStat (for makeup air or continuous blower operation) e. Horizontal duct flanges for inlet connection f. Filter rack with two (2) inch disposable pleated filters g. High and low gas pressure safety switches h. Manual shutoff valve with 1/2" union i. Adjustable V-belt drive j. High and low gas pressure safety switches k. Manual shutoff valve with 1/2" union l. Adjustable V-belt drive B. Contractor shall furnish and install all electrical connections and the gas line reconnections. C. Contractor shall start, test, charge, and balance the system to ensure proper operation. D. Contractor shall provide two copies of Operation and Maintenance Manuals to the CHP onsite contact. E. Contractor shall obtain all required permits for installing the HVAC unit. F. Contractor shall properly dispose of and recycle old equipment per Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) guidelines. G. Contractor shall warranty work for a period of one year after installation and provide manufacturer’s warranty on equipment installed. H. The replacement equipment and installation must be in compliant with the California Code of Regulations, Title 24, Part 6.
