1. ACCOUNTING AND AUDITING RELATED SERVICES CATEGORIES: Upon request, the CONTRACTOR will perform accounting, auditing, review, other agreed upon procedures, and analysis of, among other things, financial reports, financial information, operational and financial management policies, procedures, and practices. The CONTRACTOR will provide written reports to CATV; meet with CATV staff; and provide any other services as reasonably requested by CATV. 1.1 Accounting: This notice covers services that advise, administer, supervise, or performs professional accounting work that requires the application of accounting theories, concepts, principles, and standards to the financial activities of governmental, quasi-governmental, private sector organizations, and not-for-profit organizations. The work includes: • Inspecting accounting systems; • Reviewing accounting standards, policies, procedures, and requirements; • Examining, analyzing, and interpreting accounting data, records, and reports; • Advising or assisting CATV on accounting, financial management, and policy matters; and • Assisting CATV on matters and proceedings that are related to accounting services. 1.2 Auditing: This notice covers services that involve accounting and auditing knowledge, standards, and principles: • Analyzing work related to audit policies and programs; • Conducting performance and inventory audits; • Conducting activities related to the detection of financial fraud, waste, abuse, and non-compliance; and • Assisting CATV on matters and proceedings that are related to auditing services.
