Investigative Services: The services to be provided involve determining the most appropriate investigative method relative to the type of complaint or allegation, conducting an objective and thorough investigation or fact-finding, collecting and preserving all relevant evidence, drafting a comprehensive and detailed written report to document the allegations including findings for each allegation, and potentially meeting with City representatives to debrief the organization on the results of the investigation or fact-finding. Typical complaints and allegations for which the City requires investigative services include, but are not limited to the following: • Discrimination, harassment and hostile work environment, sexual harassment, and retaliation as defined by City policy; • Employee or supervisor misconduct, including disrespectful, unprofessional, or bullying behavior; • Any other alleged policy violation or fact-finding need.
