The project includes demolition and removal of Ground Storage Tank No. 1, above-ground water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation, generator pad, and fuel tank with foundation. The existing booster pumps and motors will be refurbished, including replacement of seals with mechanical seals. Furnish and install new 426,500-gallon welded steel ground storage tank with cathodic protection, along with new water well discharge piping, booster pump station piping and foundation pad, and a diesel-powered emergency generator. Hydropneumatic Tanks No. 1 (10,000 gallon) and No. 2 (15,000 gallon) will be rehabilitated by power washing, abrasive blasting, and recoating of both interior and exterior surfaces. The project also includes site preparation, grading, drainage, yard piping, and all components to ensure the smooth operation of the water plant.
