The City of Kirksville, Missouri, will accept sealed bids for the furnishing of the 2026 supplies of: 1. Hydrofluosilicic Acid; 2. Liquid Chlorine; 3. Copper Sulfate; 4. 19% Ammonia Solution; By action of the City Council, the municipal purchasing officers are encouraged to select products manufactured, assembled or produced in the United States if the quality and price are comparable with other goods. Estimated amounts of chemicals to be purchased are: Name of Chemical Quantity (Est.) Delivery Details; 1. Hydrofluosilicic Acid 32,400 pounds 15-gallon returnable 2-handle carboys; 2. Liquid Chlorine 56,000 pounds one-ton cylinders; 3. Copper Sulfate 4,000 pounds 50-pound bags; 4. 19% Ammonia Solution 38,000 pounds one-ton totes; Delivery of items will be made on demand from the City of Kirksville, Missouri. Chemical manifests shall be provided to the City as required by Missouri State law. MSDS sheets must be provided for each chemical from supplying vendor upon written award notice. It is also understood that these chemicals are safe for use in drinking water supplies when used in proper amounts and that they also meet the attached AWWA specifications.
