Replacement of existing rail, earthwork, concrete paving, fencing, etc. at 1550 River Dr, Rocky Mount, NC 27804. Project includes demolition of existing rail, fencing, pavement, infill of approximately 310 cubic yards of ABC stone, topsoil, grading, installation of new rail, new pavement, new fencing, etc.. Project plans prepared by Dewberry Engineers, Inc., and unit price schedule outline the estimated quantities for the required work. All work shall be done in accordance with City of Rocky Mount and NCDOT Standard Specifications, current version. IV. THE WORK: The contractor shall furnish all necessary equipment, labor, and material and permits required to complete the work including but not limited to: • Demolition of existing rail and ballast, fencing and gates, pavement, utilities, trees, crossing gates and signals, wisteria tunnel, etc. • Disposal of all waste materials. • Installation and maintenance of erosion control measures, construction and tree protection fencing, etc. • Installation of new rail and ballast, earthwork, pavement, fencing, etc. • Grading and infill. • New drainage systems.
