The City of Winston-Salem is seeking repair and renovation services for seven (7) athletic fields from qualified vendors to provide labor, materials, and equipment necessary to strip most of the existing turf from disturbed areas, layout the field and measure from the pitching rubber out to the arch and determine where to best cut the arch. Rip, till, and grade the new subgrade, supply and install on average three to four inches of infield mix over infield skinned area and in foul territory portions of the infield and taper material at foul territory with laser grading and fall from the backstop out. Supply and install bases with anchors and plugs. Laser (set grades) for infield and outfield elevations and positive drainage. Each field is to be priced separately, allowing the city to determine which or all fields to be improved based on need and funding.
