The work on this project consists of a new connector trail and pedestrian bridge improvements that generally will run from the GM&O Heritage Trail to Rueck Road. Improvements include pedestrian bridge, concrete curbs, concrete driveway, concrete sidewalks, hot-mix asphalt trail pavement, box culvert extension, storm sewers, rip rap, erosion control, and completing collateral work necessary to complete the project as shown on the plans and as described herein. The proposed bridge improvement shall consist of constructing a new 120’ pedestrian truss superstructure between the proposed Creekside Park and the existing GM&O Heritage Trail. Items of bridge work include the pedestrian truss, steel piles, concrete abutments, approach slabs, and any other work indicated in the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for furnishing all labor, equipment and materials necessary to satisfactorily complete all work in accordance with the plans and specifications.
