1. Project Location: Lake Valley Storage Building in Lake Valley, New Mexico. 2. Renovation: CPMD met with the Lake Valley Chapter to plan, draft a Scope of Work, and identify necessary equipment for this project. 3. Scope of Services Requested: Storage Building Roof Repair 4. Field-verify all equipment prior to ordering and installation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION A. EXISTING BUILDING 1. The existing building consists of two separate rooms, each approximately 16’ x 16’. 2. The entire roof structure is constructed with corrugated metal panels, installed without wood sheathing or a moisture resistant membrane. 3. An electrical system is installed and operational. B. OLDER BUILDING (NOT IN CONTRACT) 1. The older section of the building has perimeter stone walls. 2. The entrance door is a suspended sliding door on a track. C. NEWER BUILDING 1. The new portion of the storage building is constructed with 2” x _” wood framing. 2. The entrance door consists of two swing-out leaf doors mounted with hasp door hinges. D. RENOVATION 1. Roof repair work shall focus on the newer portion of the storage building. 2. The existing storage building is approximately 26’ x 26’ with a ceiling height of 10’. 3. Existing building doors consists of two leaf doors measuring 9’ wide x 8’ high. E. DEMOLITION 1. Remove existing metal roof panels. 2. Remove 2” x _” fascia boards. 3. Remove existing doors. 4. Remove existing light fixtures and electrical receptacles.
