The GIS Mapping personnel shall have all applicable certification in GIS/ESRI software. His/her firm must be multi-disciplined with at least five (5) years of experience in all aspects of storm water facility mapping. Barnegat Township maintains approximately 1,700 storm inlets, 30 detention basins and 110 outfall pipes. The Township has GPS located the storm inlets and outfall pipes and is currently taking GPS points of storm basins. The consultant will be required to take the GPS information the Township currently has, plus as-built maps, to create one storm water (GIS) map of Barnegat Township system in accordance with NJDEP’s Municipal Storm Water requirements (MS4) permitting. Barnegat is looking to take as-builts along with GPS locations of inlets, outfalls and basins to create a detailed storm water map.
