INSTALLATION Where installation is required, vendor shall be responsible for placing and installing furniture and/or shelving in the required locations, at no additional charge, unless agreed upon in writing and approved by the County representative prior to services being performed. Materials used in the installation shall be of good quality and shall be free of defects that would diminish the appearance of the product(s) or render it structurally or operationally unsound. Installation includes the furnishing of any tools, equipment, rigging, and materials required to install or replace the product in the proper location. Vendor shall protect the site from damage and shall repair damages or injury caused during installation by vendor or its employees or agents. If any alteration, dismantling or removal is required to achieve installation, the vendor shall promptly restore the structure or site to its original condition. Vendor shall perform installation work so as not to cause inconvenience and interference with patrons and with proper consideration of others. Installing agent shall be responsible for receipt, assembly and inspection of all items at time of delivery and installation. INSTALLATION CHARGES Vendor’s authorized product and price list shall clearly and separately identify any additional installation charges. Additional charges for installation during non-regular work hours, or other unique applications, such as reconfiguration, shall be agreed upon in writing and approved by the County prior to any services being performed. CLEAN-UP Upon final completion, the vendor shall thoroughly clean up all areas where work has been involved as mutually agreed with the County representative. Work area shall be left clean and in a neat and unobstructed condition, with everything in satisfactory repair and order. All refuge, unusable materials and debris shall be removed from the premises and disposed of offsite.
